Our Breeds
Every Petworks breed has been chosen for temperament-first traits: gentle, loving, and well-suited to Singapore homes. Explore each below.

The plush teddy bear of cats
Round, plush, and famously easy-going. The British Shorthair is the perfect balance of affection and independence — a gentle housemate who's happy in your lap or watching the world from a sunlit windowsill.
Temperament
Calm, dignified, undemanding. Bonds deeply with their family but isn't clingy.
Grooming
Low — weekly brushing keeps the plush double coat in top shape.
Family-friendly
Excellent — patient with children and respectful of other pets.
Indoor suitability
Ideal indoor companion. Loves elevated perches and quiet nooks.
- Quiet and well-mannered
- Excellent apartment cat
- Slow to mature — kittens stay playful for years
- Famously photogenic (the 'Cheshire Cat' breed)

All the calm, with extra floof
Same gentle temperament as the British Shorthair, with a flowing semi-long coat that doubles down on the regal aesthetic. A British Longhair is what you imagine when you picture 'a beautiful cat napping by a window.'
Temperament
Mellow, affectionate, and graceful. Rarely vocal, rarely dramatic.
Grooming
Moderate — 3–4 brushings per week to keep their coat silken and tangle-free.
Family-friendly
Excellent — gentle and tolerant.
Indoor suitability
Ideal indoor cat. Thrives in calm, comfortable environments.
- Stunning long flowing coat
- Calm temperament — perfect for relaxed households
- Loyal but never demanding
- Aristocratic appearance

The puppy in a cat suit
Famous for going limp in your arms like a soft toy. Ragdolls are deeply social, follow their humans around the house, and greet guests at the door. If you want a cat that acts like a tiny, devoted dog, this is your breed.
Temperament
Devoted, sociable, vocal in a sweet way. Bonds intensely with their family.
Grooming
Moderate — 2–3 brushings per week to maintain their silky semi-long coat.
Family-friendly
Exceptional — Ragdolls genuinely love being part of a busy household.
Indoor suitability
Strictly indoor — too trusting of strangers to be safe outside.
- Goes limp when held ('rag doll')
- Follows you room to room
- Excellent with children and other pets
- Striking blue eyes and color-point markings
